What we do

 The cost of treating cancer is costly for families.  Even if you have insurance, co-pays and deductibles can add up quickly.  If you don't have insurance it can be devastating.  There are also things that insurance either limits coverage for or doesn't cover at all.  If you or someone you know is in need of financial assistance in relation to a diagnosis of childhood cancer we would like to help ease the financial burden.

Please talk to your oncology social worker for an application for financial assistance. 

 Community support for families dealing with childhood cancer is critical.  Many people who want to help are unsure of what they should do.  We would like to offer support for these people including but not limited to:

• Education for school officials on how to best help the child in the school environment.
• Education and support for friends of the child who has been diagnosed with cancer.
• Support for siblings of the child who has been diagnosed with cancer.
• Education and support for those caring for the child who has been diagnosed with cancer.
